I was wondering if anyone else was watching this and what they think. I saw an article in the NY Post about it before its premiere so I have been recording it and have watched the first 3 episodes and have really liked it. At first I thought it a bit contrived, but after 3 episodes there really is a lot of tension involved in couples who meet at the alter, not even knowing their names, say "I Do" and then start a relationship. There are 3 couples and they are followed separately. These were 6 professional people matched by the experts and seemingly starting married life together.

This looks like a promising new show. I liked the pilot, so I set up a seasons pass. However, I noticed that no episodes are scheduled to record. Looking at the info for the pilot, it says it first aired on 3/21/2014? Where did it air on that date? I show it aired on NBC on July 10. If I change the series option to record both repeats and first runs, will it start recording the show?

About the show: An original comedy from writer and executive producer Stephen Falk, You’re The Worst puts a dark twist on the romantic comedy genre. Narcissistic, brash, and self-destructive “Jimmy Shive-Overly,” played by Chris Geere (The Spa), thinks all relationships are doomed. Cynical, people-pleasing, and stubborn “Gretchen Cutler,” played by Aya Cash (The Wolf of Wall Street), knows that relationships aren't for her. So when they meet at a wedding, it's only natural that the two of them go home together and, despite their better judgment, begin to find themselves falling for…

Senate Bill 517 overturns a January 2013 decision by the Congressional Librarian that ruled the unlocking of phones by consumers fell afoul of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). When I open my mailbox, I often find Amazon packages that I don't remember ordering. But today's surprise was a DVD of Sharknado, a movie I absolutely did not purchase. My first instinct was to contact Amazon and change my password, but then I found a note inside: "For you to test out the new Syfy Sync app with your Philips Hue lights." Wait, what? A quick web search cleared things up pretty quickly -- the latest Syfy Sync app enables full control of a Hue bridge (and connected lights) on the same network. The movie, app and lights work together, in theory, to bring you a more immersive…
  • Get the most out of Netflix with these tools -- while you still can

We've heard your complaint: you can't find anything to watch on Netflix. Despite all the A/B testing, app updates and data Netflix is measuring behind the scenes, the way it presents the library makes it nearly impossible to see everything that's available to watch, and sometimes you want to do the choosing instead of letting an algorithm or hired gun do the work. The good news is there are a ton of different ways to sort through the pile -- or ditch sorting for the bliss of random selection -- but the bad news is that some of them will be going away soon (more on that in a minute). If you're…
  • The battle for virtual reality: Google, Samsung, Sony and Oculus VR

Back in June, Google revealed Cardboard: an open-source attempt at mobile virtual reality. Heck, even the "hardware" is open source --here are instructions to make your own, right now! But the concept is more than a low-tech solution to mobile VR. It's emblematic of Google's approach to virtual reality: use the phone that's already in your pocket. Samsung's taking the same approach later this year with Gear VR, only it's also partnering with Oculus VR on the software side. This stands in stark contrast to the PC-dependent, ultra-high-res experience Oculus VR and Facebook are aiming to…
